Need opinions

Ok so im curious to know, for all the couples out there, do you guys go half and half on bills or does your SO pay for everything??? My mother hates that in my household its 50/50 with everything she thinks my SO should be paying for everything in the household and im just supposed to stay at home taking care of the house
