So I tooks 50mg clomid and started on the 5th December-9th

When should I ovulate? My opks are negative why?? Can anyone help

I took clomid 50mg as well and didn't ovulate until CD17, so you still have plenty of time!

Hun, you are way to early to ovulate. Didn't your doc explain to you what your cycle schedule should look like?

If you took clomid starting on the 5th, that means it was CD 3, right? That means you are on CD 9. Most women don't ovulate until CD 14. Though it would be "normal" to ovulate between CD 10-18. So December 12-20th. I always ovulated late on clomid around CD 18. But I wouldn't even start using OPKs until CD 10. There's no need before then.

Also, there's a good chance you won't ovulate on only the 50mg dose. But because he medicine is strong, can hurt your body if taken irresponsibly, and your body will slowly build up a tolerance, doctors always start women out with the lowest dose.

So just relax. You are on the first step of your fertility treatment journey. If you're really lucky, everything will work this cycle. But every body is different and you might spend a few months figuring out what dosage, drug combo (like adding metformin or switching to Letrozole), and other life/diet changes you need to make to get your body to ovulate.

It took me and my doc 6 months to figure out how to get my body to ovulate. But I'm 11 weeks pregnant today so it will happen. But you can't start freaking out just a few days into your first cycle. And tell your doc to give you more info!! They should have explained all this to you!!!
