I'm 5 days late, I am showing symptoms but I got a negative when i tested 3 days ago... What could this be?

All you can do is wait a couple more days and then retest with the digital. If it keeps coming up negative and you don't have a period then I would go to your GYN. There are other reasons for missing your cycle besides pregnancy.
