What about having "standards"?

For centuries women have been trying to demolish the standards conveyed by society, which aren't necessarily bad. In the 1920's women cut off their hair, to became a 'new' woman, and to try and be equal to men. Which from that day, they promoted their rights to vote, work, to have more education e.c.t.

What I don't understand is why so many people want to squish two DIFFERENT sexes into one. (May I say, science has proven men are different to women not only by their sexual organs, but the two sexes think different, their majority of body types are different, men are better at handling lack of sleep, there are different types of molecules in women's brains that men don't have; overall you get the picture)

In today's society, men and women still play different roles, but women have around the same power as men do in 1st world counties.

So why can't we have different standards for different sexes, without the majority of people getting offended?

Because everyone should be able to do what they want and I'm not going to let some bullshit "standard" for females hold me back or control how I behave. I've had a guy who dropped out of high school tell me that he'd be a better CEO or president than me when I graduated university because "men's brains are just more analytic and women are too emotional". It's baloney.

Because a lot of these differences actually don't exist.And the ones that do aren't significant enough to justify the tradtional gender roles society expects us to conform to.

squish them? no. woman are equally capable of the same intelligence as men, same talent, same anything as men. and up until this century they were believed lesser and incapable amd weak. so you can sit the fuck down. women don't want to be men or be "like" men. everyone wants to be treated and seen as though they are capable and can be strong.

every HUMAN is different. yes sex is one thing, but how are you gonna define a standard that fits all/most women?? you can't. just like you can't for men. generalizing gets us no where.

The problem is that actually, contrary to popular belief, males and females are not that different. When it comes to cognitive abilities, there is little to no difference between a male's and a female's. And while we have rights like the ability to own land and vote, socially we are not treated equally. For example, as a woman, I am more likely to be sexually harassed or sexually assaulted than a man and am less likely to enter a STEM field than a man.

I once got into an argument with a classmate because she got angry at my teacher for saying men are stronger. I don't care if this hurts anyone's feelings but they are! Get over itttt.
We can vote, we can buy land, we can hold titles. Approximately those that go into further education are very 50/50 male and female. Yes the pay is less but men don't cost a company when they decide to have a baby. Women do. You can't to be equal to men well tough, scientifically you never will be. To be honest I don't see why people seem to be unhappy about being female (okay so I do periods are hell). I honestly hate all this "we still aren't equal" original suffragettes would be horrified at the joke women are making of it all in the 21st century.

Women are not the same as men. No we are not as strong as men, get over it. They are physically built stronger. While we are better at tactical things. Each sex is better at different things because we have different brains.
