sex after birth

Has anyone tried having sex at 5 weeks pp? I let my husband put it in but I felt and heard like a little rip down there and it bled a tiny amount. He took it out immediately but it didn't hurt. Any one else experience something like this or have been fine after trying before the 6 week mark? Oh and I want to include that I had a vaginal birth with stitches
