Two Day Period on BC Pill??

So I've been on the pill for two months (just finished second pack today). My BF & I have unprotected sex (doesn't pull out), and I take the pill every day at the same time about 98% of the time (I never skipped a day but I did take it like two hours late about three times within the two months). My periods are usually (before the pill) about five days long & very heavy & painful. Last month, it was lighter & way less painful but it was still four-five days maybe six. This month, my period lasted two days & was extremely light, and I had cramping on the second day which came & went like every 20 mins. I've been very, very sick the last two weeks so I've been lazier than usual. I'm just wondering if the period being only two days is normal? And as for the cramping, I've never had the cramps come & go the way the did... usually it's just a consistent cramping until I take a pain reliever.. has anyone experienced the same thing?
