Anyome else dealing w thyroid issues/weight? Been trying to conceive since May.  My TSH is 4.3 and just curious to hear from others?

I've been hypothyroid since I was 15. I couldn't lose weight until I got my TSH below 2. You are at the high end of normal. Some Drs like to keep you there. But I e found that the high end is not normal for my body. I've been at 1.5 for 3 month and have lost 40 pounds. I'm hopeful this will help with my fertility.

I am! We've been ttc for 13 months, and I have been seriously struggling with my weight (like, putting on lbs even though I'm trying desperately to LOSE weight). Went to obgyn and had my blood drawn. Turns out, my TSH is 4.54 and free T4 1.1. Looks like hypothyroidism and off to the endocrinologist I go!

I have been Hypothyroid since the age of 15. I am 34 now and my DH and I have tried for 18 months now. I am so frustrated:( I am using the clear blue fertility monitor as my last hope before exploring fertility meds/treatments.

I'm fighting with doctors to get medicated for my 6.5 TSH. So frustrating!!

Mine fluctuates so I can't be medicated properly! One month it will by hypo and I'll gain tones of weight and the next it will be hyper and I will lose it all! Frustrating!

Hasimotos Hypothyroid strong for 13 years now. It had been maintained very well up until around the time I turned 31. From 31 to 35 I have been all over the place with my levels and dose changing. Had a miscarriage in March (my TSH was all off the charts) Tested every six weeks since and have finally had two normal labs. Last lab was 1.80. It is on the rise again, but I am hoping my meds will be increased the recommended 20-25% for the first trimester. 
The agree with everyone on here saying that "good" levels are anything below a three. For pregnancy I have read that levels should be monitored and kept low. 
Best of luck to all of the women out there dealing with thyroid issues! I know it is not fun, often heart wrenching, and down right annoying.

I am hypothyroid but I am up and down in my doses... I found out I had hypothyroidism when I was pregnant with my little boy back in 2014 since then, I have had 3 miscarriages 😥 and I am gaining wait every month but in the bright side I have 2 beautiful girls and my handsome little man good luck guys it's frustrating but we just need a bit extra baby dust x

I have hypothyroidism since April maybe before but didn't catch it til April, started TTC in June and now we are 5 weeks. Super nervous about the weight gain this pregnancy now that I have this disease. Ilast weight the first month on the meds then had My level checked again in 2 months & was 1.67 in June, the weight gain came back that month so im thinking i need the levels checked again...but we are preggers whatever the level is.
