I don't know what to do about my ex!!

Well this guy I met my freshman year, we were friends. Until one day he finally asked me to go out with him, so I said yes. We dated for 1 year, and we broke up over something really stupid🙄. In that time we a shared a lot together. It's no secret I would have gone up and beyond for him. My friends says I'm out of his league. (He's one of those bad boy types but he's a softy at ❤️) he also has a lot of medical problems. I think I might be in love with this guy. Before him I had no self esteem, and he made me feel like I was the most beautiful girl in the world! He bought me gift like almost everyday. He was the sweetest guy I have ever dated. Seeing him with another girl drives me crazy, and I don't know how to tell him how I feel about him. I'm scared he won't feel the same way and he shoots me down.
