What do you think about this?

So when I was growing up, my aunt(she raised me just for reference) used to give me a "birthday week". Every day for a week leading up to my birthday, she would get me a present to open each morning. It was never anything huge- one day it might be a new shirt, another day it may be a few packs of my favorite gum. They were always small little presents that I would get to open each morning and then I'd get my "real" present the day of my birthday. It was always such a cool thing that I got to do that made my birthday feel so much more special, especially since I grew up with so many siblings!
So what do you guys think about this?! I plan to do it with my kids once they hit a good age to really appreciate it.
Just curious on some opinions! 😊😊
