too much equality??

I'm all for equality and women being ceos and such but I wish I could tell people that I want to be a wife and a mom without people giving me a lecture. I understand some people have huge dreams and want to be big important people, but all I want is to cook and clean and have babies, I want to make my husband happy and care for my kids and farm. Like what is the big deal? Idk am I crazy?

I'm the same way, I love being a home-maker! I like taking care of all the stuff around the house (minus scooping the cat litter,) cooking, caring for the kids during the day, etc. I love being a housewife, and there's nothing wrong with it since I am CHOOSING that lifestyle.

I agree, everyone keeps telling me go to college, get a job and don't let a boy distract me. Like no, I want to get married, have kids, cook, and clean for my family. I've always been that way and hate when people try to change my mind.

I made the decision be your typical house wife and my husband works and provides, it's what we wanted and what works for us but I do get some remarks of people. I just ignore it lol

The thing is - util you have not been there dont talk about it.
There is nothing wrong with being a housewifefull time. All of us love to cook and care for our lived ones.
I'm just saying- if you have not experienced a different life how would you know if it is for you or not?
I loved being at home during maternity but could never become dependent on someone.
I like to stand on my own feet - obviously with my husbands support- but i juat love to be independent and be able to care for my baby even if anything happens and is only 2 of us
Life's a bitch- can take your loved ones away within a second

Tell them thanks, but no thanks. You know what you want, and it will make you much happier than their high priority lifestyles. If they want to continue, simply shoot them down, and walk away.

My sister has always been the go getter big dreams, impressing everyone with the jobs she got. And I've always loved kids, always wanted to be a mother, have a family. And I've always felt like it would never be enough because of how people look at being a mother and a housewife
