Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever had to manually express your bladder to go pee? It's the strangest thing, and my coworkers and doc look at me like I'm crazy, but there's times I KNOW I have a full bladder, but when I sit to go, nothing comes. I have to push on my bladder and then it comes! I work 12+ hour nursing shifts, which is when this problem occurs. I figured it was due to so much walking that my baby gets wedged on my bladder outlet, blocking the flow. But maybe not?? I'm just afraid of getting a UTI from retaining urine. Anyone else experiencing this?? 36+4 weeks currently.
