What are the things to do to take a relationship to the next level?

I am in a good relationship with a man I love for 9 months now. I am ready to move foward but I feel like we are stuck in that maze where we just talk..on normal things like how's your day..Wat are you doing and the sort. We are waiting so moving in together is not an option. I just don't know what to do I feel really stuck and dull. I want to make things happen but I don't know what or how.
