What is considered "full term"? I'm 37 weeks tomorrow, can I start trying things at home to speed up the process??

As long as you're past 37w, then it's a great time to start prepping yourself mentally & physically for labor. Walking, bouncing/hip circles on an exercise ball, pelvic floor exercises etc... Are great to physically prepare. Red raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose (orally & vaginally), 6-dates a day etc... Are all ways that are supposed to help soften cervix & prepare.

39 is now the more "safe" statement of full term. 37 was but then they realized some important lung development can still be occurring. Thats why most docs wont do c sections until 39 weeks unless there's a medical reason they need to deliver early. Also women dont always follow a specific cycle and can easily be off a week or so in babys measurements. But if your start trying to get things going, your baby will come if they are ready..if they are stubborn and dont want to come then they wont lol

Full term is 39 weeks they changed it as the lungs and brain are still developing till then

It used to be 37. It is now 39. The definition of Pregnancy was changed to 42 weeks in 2014, I believe it was. The reasoning was that there was enough medical evidence to show that babies benefited by staying in the womb until at least  39 weeks
