Eating Properly

So I'm 15 years old and went vegan a year ago. I went vegan for moral reasons and a small intolerance for diary and meat. I also have terrible periods that are always way too hard to manage regarding cramps, heavy flow, tiredness, soreness, appetite and I also tend to have a worse immune system on my period. My doctor has recently told me that I need to get more protein into my diet and more iron. I was hoping someone would know a good way for me to get more protein on a vegan diet.
