rant.. relationship advice.

My boyfriend's parents don't like me(even though it wasn't my fault) . There was a situation that happened in the past and that ruined my relationship with them... I was trying to restore that relationship but I just can't.. I know they'll be hypocrites. My boyfriend isn't a big fan of them either so he's okay with me not seeing his parents. Today he was going to see them because they came to visit but my boyfriend wasn't able to make it and now they're mad and blaming me because supposedly I force him not to see them ): that's not true. On the contrary I always tell my boyfriend to go see them. But it just frustrates me that they think badly of me. I don't want my boyfriend and i's future jeapordized because I can't have a relationship with his parents. Are you girls in this situation too?? What should I do?? Thank you!
