Being induced on Dec 21st

So I went to the doctor today and I am going in tomorrow night at 9pm to start my induction. Being induced due to chronic hypertension. Doc is going to start me on cervidil around 9pm and then come in to break my water around 8am Thursday morning. Starting to get a little nervous now about labor. Does anyone have any advice or positive stories about being induced. I heard that pitocin causes really painful contractions and that scares me a little lol I'll be exactly 38wks on Thursday.
