how does labor feel?

I was recently feeling really severe pain in my upper back and right under my boobs. I also threw up and had diarrhea, the pain was coming and going and really worried me. After my last time using the bathroom the pain has seemed to go away, should i go go the emergency room??

It went away and you're still early. Seems more like a gastrointestinal thing. You can talk to your doctor if you are concerned but it's unlikely to be labor related based on your description.

Maybe call labor and delivery and see what they say, if the pain is really unbearable though I would just go in

Not to sound gross or anything but when I was in labor both times I had to poop like a lot during the day. I think I went 3-4 times a day?? And sure enough I go in to get checked and I didn't leave the hospital til birth. I was 34 weeks pregnant so I don't know how real labor feels? But that's my experience

For both my pregnancies, it felt like the cramps I got on my period but more intensified and severe pain in my lower back that only got worse over time. I know when it got to later stages the urge to Push like I had to go #2 was intense and almost involuntary, took everything not to push. I would call your doctor though still and explain, every woman and their body is different, maybe they can help you more.

Labor symptoms for every woman can range. However for a vaginal birth that"ring of fire" is a bitch!
