Have you taken belsomra?

Question

I have extremely bad insomnia. I've tried melatonin, gabapentin, and trazadone and none of them did anything for me. My doctor is gonna try me out on belsomra. Have any of you taken it and if so, how did it work for you? I wake up most mornings wanting to cry because of the fact that I get no sleep. So I hope this helps.

Melatonin actually tricks the body into thinking it's night time and it ends up making your sleep screwed up when taken regularly. Not sure about the other medications but this is my advice, have some sort of sleep schedule, most people waking up at 10am-noon and going to bed at 11-1 at night have way more problems with sleeping, I know some people can't help it with work or whatnot but maybe try that. And then also, when you eat dinner which shouldn't be right before bed take a magnesium pill! It helps! Also when you lay in bed don't try and sleep just lay there and think happy thoughts or don't think at all. I hope this helps you!
