Question

My 2 month old son won't sleep unless he's right next to me, any ideas on how to get him to sleep with out me & longer during the night??

Mine will not be swaddled. He screams bloody murder and tries to escape like he's in a straitjacket. I had this problem the first two weeks. He still at a month old wants to sleep with one of us as some point in the night but he will sleep alone. I started putting him down during the day in his bassinet or in the swing to sleep. If he cried, I'd soothe him to sleep and put him back down. For a while it would take forever and a hundred attempts to get him to fall asleep but eventually he would be so tired he slept. It took a ton of patience but it had to be done. I wasn't sleeping as soundly with him in bed with me because he can roll to his side and shimmy his way around. He kept scooting himself as close to me as possible and I'd wake up with him on his side facing me, face shoved into my boobs, completely content lol he still does that but at least for some of the night I can sleep soundly. Lol good luck!!

we use Babymoov places in our bed. in the beginning he would want to fall asleep there but i started taking him next to me in bed until he falls asleep and positioning him in the babymoov after. he doesn't wake up by himself over night and we need to wake him up for a feeding at 4am!

Woombie! Best invention ever and my little guy started sleeping through the night (only awake once a night) since he was a week old. He's now almost 3 weeks and doesn't need it at all.

I agree with swaddling and white noise. We have since stopped swaddling but the white border is a must. Some nights she sleeps 5 hours at a clip which I call a success at this stage.  Good luck!

Idk about longer thru the night, but for my LO swaddling and white nosie works like a charm, also we use a paci, I'll nurse him first and when he's done eating but still wants to suck I'll switch out my nip for a paci sometimes he'll fuss and not want to take it but eventually he'll take it and then I set him in his crib turn on the fan and walk away, come back a couple mins later and he's fast asleep.
