How far long were you before you heard a heartbeat?

I am going for my first appointment tomorrow and I believe I will be about 5 weeks 4 days. Any chance I will hear a heartbeat? How early were you when you heard it first??

I was 6+2 when we saw the little flicker of a heartbeat

Saw it at 10 and 12 weeks. Heard it at 19 weeks. Dr's in Australia don't like to concentrate the ultrasound waves over the newly developing heart ❤️

It would be very unlikely to hear a heartbeat that early.  You could see a little flicker but it is still super early, so try not to worry!  You're still a few weeks early to be able to hear it yet :) good luck!

Don't be too worried if you can't hear/see a heartbeat this early. I was 8 weeks when I had my first ultrasound and saw that beautiful flicker!! Dr advised me not to have one done before then because it can be hard to see that early which causes unnecessary worry.
