Let me say it again, I HATE my mother in law

So yesterday I had my mother-in-law come with me to my OB appointment because my husband is out of town working. Our relationship is not the best but I am trying to get her involved with this pregnancy since this is her first biological grandchild. I am 11 weeks. This is her first time coming to an appointment with me.

As soon as we get in the room the nurse uses the Doppler to hear the baby's heartbeat. My doctor comes in right afterwards and surprises me with an ultrssound, which I think he was going for all mom's as a little Christmas gift! Anyways, as he's putting the gel on my belly I ask him how his vacation was. He explained he had a great time and that it was very hot.

He begins the ultrasound.

During the ENTIRE ultrasound, my mother-in-law spoke to him only about his fishing trip to some island. She never once looked at the screen. She never once asked him anything about the baby. My doctor said "there's the baby's face" so I said where I can't tell! As he was trying to show me she proceeded to talk to him about his fishing trip and he was never able to show me my babies facial features on the screen.

Due to it being a free ultrasound out of the goodness of his heart, it was maybe only two minutes long. So that's that. I saw my baby for a quick two-minutes, my mother-in-law didn't give a single shit and I'm livid.

AM I IN THE WRONG FOR BEING PISSED??
