Yes! As long as you use protection youre fine. I have genital herpes so I have to use a condom but even if I didn't have herpes id still use a condom cuz we don't plan on having kids at the moment lol. As for oral sex, using dental dams or if you're cheap like me, seran wrap! Perfect barrier to have safe oral sex lol I'm very fortunate my boyfriend loves me for me and accepts my condition. When I first found out I had herpes I had to tell every guy I planned on hooking up with before sex and honestly only one guy turned me down. I wasn't hurt though I understood, but as long as you explain to people what the consequences are, how to protect, and your chances of transmitting it, they usually are still down to fuck lol

Yes, as long as they were taking their medication and not experiencing an outbreak. Herpes is totally controllable, and plenty of people are sexually active in long term relationships where one person has herpes. I know someone who has it, he and his wife have been together for decades and he hasn't given it to her.

I said yes because cold sores are considered a type of herpes and I'd date someone who gets cold sores. All herpes aren't the same

I think it depends. If my now husband had told me when we were dating I would have taken proper precautions, but I still would have done it. He would have been worth the risk for me.
