elective induction in your 39th week.
At my last appointment I was 2cm / 60 effaced. The dr asked if I wanted to be induced. I asked if there were risks involved and he said there shouldn't be, because I have had kids & I am dilated already.
^* backstory a little: our local hospital shut down the maternity ward, so the next hospital is SWAMPED with pregnant women. I have heard of them delivering in triage, not having a room, drs not getting to eat because they are so swamped.
With my last 2 babes, I had postpartum hemorrhaging & I want to MAKE sure 1- I make it to the hospital in time. 2- I have a dr to deliver me!
I have never experienced induction, so I am honestly a nervous wreck.
Any insights would be great!
