Overdue, holiday plan?

I just turned 40 weeks yesterday. This is my 3rd baby. My midwife did a membrane sweep yesterday and scheduled an ultrasound and NST for tomorrow, 12/23 to check things out with baby. She has scheduled me for cervical ripening on Monday at 6pm. Saturday is Christmas eve, Sunday is Christmas. I really wanted baby by Christmas and am willing to do the castor oil thing like I did my last pregnancy -it worked last time. I thought of taking it tomorrow after my appointments but that would mean I would be in the hospital Christmas morning. I also have 2 other girls, 12 and 6 1/2, and don't really want to be in the hospital Christmas morning. They are very happy about the baby and are very understanding girls. I've realized that before Christmas she may not come and it may not work out so I was thinking Christmas night I would take the castor oil but don't want to have baby Monday if I can help it-I've heard it's hard on children to have their birthday the day after Christmas. However, if she comes Monday I will be happy! I just don't know what to do about the holiday. I'm so emotional and impatient and just want this baby to come already, lol.

Any suggestions on how to plan around the holiday??
