At my baby shower my mil felt like she could put her hands on me because she got mad. She's apologized since but now me and her will never have that relationship we used to have. I'm uncomfortable around her now and I just can't shake the feeling. Lately she's been buying gifts for the baby and I feel like they're guilt gifts . I'm hesitant on accepting them but realize they will be useful in the long run. How do I continue from here with being around her because obviously she's gonna be around because it's my child's grandmother
