Are anyone of you friends with your ex's?

In a platonic way and there's no feelings involved. You're both with other people.

The person I'm with is best friends with their ex, they said that don't even see each other as exs. The ex is going to meet them, and wants to meet me.

Does anyone have that kind of relationship or would be okay if their partner did

Well it all depends! I'm friends with my exs but that kind of needed some time for us to just chill. We started chilling in group, seeing each other more often in mutual events... and then we just started talking like nothing happen. But always keeping a distances. But on the other hand, with my most recent ex, that kind of turn completely different since we will end up having sex. We are both single so what the hell. But the key for you is not have feelings at all and just want to satisfied your needs. I know it sounds completely weird but that's how it is.

I am. We shared a dog so that's our common ground, I took her when we broke up and we still talk regularly, he talks to me about his relationship problems and asks for advice and I am honest with him. I've helped him Christmas shop for her. It's good for both of us, it took about six months but we have even gone to the bar with a group of mutual friends and we are only and exactly that, friends.

I was friends with my ex for a long time ... We kind of became friends instead of really breaking up. He broke it off but we still hung out. It was weird.
I was still friends with him when I met my husband and we have all hung out together. I stopped talking to him after I asked multiple times of his new wife would join us all for dinner ... He kept making excuses and I felt like he wasn't telling her that he still saw me. I'm not going to be the reason for turmoil in someone else's relationship.

If I were you I would meet the ex and just see how it goes, you never have to see them again if you don't want to. You will get a good sense of the person you're with by how they treat their ex anyway.

No I'm not friends with ex's & wouldn't be okay with my husband being friends with his ex either. I find it inappropriate. I would never want to meet someone my husband used to have feelings for & have sex with. There's no "just friends" with history like that & it opens doors that shouldn't be opened. It's incredibly disrespectful to me. Honestly I wouldn't be with anyone that thinks that's okay. But that's just me. My ex & I were best friends before we dated, but I had to cut him out of my life when we broke up. There's too many memories of us together & I wouldn't put myself in a situation where old feelings could possibly rise up again.
