Yes, they're awful.  Most people in here swear to use pink dye which is what first response had but after too many evaps and indent lines I tried E.P.T and was satisfied. .plus I used this when I WAS pregnant with my son. Most reliable to me.

I had several not work at all...no control line or anything

They are a test that I recommend lighting on fire after 3 minutes to keep from going back to it and seeing the evap. They always gave me evap but I still like them as an early response.

Yup I have. I had what looked like a faint positive but it wasn't a positive at all. Color and everything. Darn indents...

I've heard on here it's common but I personally didn't experience errors.  I used the tests to confirm my pregnancy in September.
