Naming your baby the same name as your cousin?? help!! opinions
I have loved the name Olivia ever since I was a little girl. I can't think of any other name I love for a baby girl besides Olivia. However, I have a cousin named Olivia. Here's the thing.. My cousin is 6 or 7 years younger than me and we don't live in the same town, we live 45 mins apart and will never live in the same town again. We are planning on calling our babygirl "Livy Kate" most of the time, but we will sometmes call her Olivia as well. Do you think it would make my aunt or cousin mad if we named our baby Olivia?? Do you think it's stupid or wrong? Help!! Im not sure what my cousins middle name is, and I don't really care. But our baby's name would be Olivia Kate and she would be called Livy Kate mostly. Please give me your opinions, I just don't want to step on anybody's toes or make anyone mad. I also don't want it to be weird and people be like "why would you name your baby the same first name your cousin has??" But we aren't close at all and see each other once a year!!! Ugh
