Am I being unreasonable?

Question

So my fiancé works full time and I'm a stay at home mom, and I walk dogs on the side for a bit of cash and to get out of the house.
He commutes and it's about 1&1/2 hours each way, plus an 8 hour work day.

We have an almost 3 month old daughter together, and she's a pretty good baby but she can get fussy in the evenings and she refuses to take a bottle.

I ask him to watch out daughter when he gets home from work in the evening so I can go to the gym for an hour. It's only every other day(3 out of his 5 work days). I can't go during the day because I have nobody who can watch my daughter.
Is it unreasonable of me to ask?
He gets annoyed every time I go. I feel like going to the gym is the one thing I have for me. It's the only time I get to myself, and it's how i de-stress.
Am I being unfair by asking him to watch his daughter for an hour every other day so I can get some me-time?

He's gone 11 hours a day and is the one working to pay bills. I'm sure he's tired and worn out when he gets home and deserves to relax. Why can't you go to the gym on his days off? Or go to one with a child care room and take the baby with you?

Some gyms have a day care/watching kids option is there a gym near you that offers that which you could switch to? I get your frustration but it seems what your are both doing what you have to do to get by at this point - that's a very long commute.

He isn't watching his own baby.  
He is spending time with his own child. 
Shouldn't matter how long a day he has had he should want to!!

Not at all!!!! Being a stay at home mom is a full time job itself! You deserve your own time, and he also needs to spend quality time with his daughter. You guys are a team and I'm sure he gets his own time as well. But no, you're not being unreasonable at all.

No that isn't unreasonable of you at all! I understand that he's probably tired from work but I'm assuming you are also the one who gets up with the baby at night? You deserve some time to yourself too!

I don't understand "asking" to watch there own kid. It's there kid. If I had to leave, I say honey I'm leaving the baby is staying. That's it. I never ask. It's his kid.

No it's good for you to keep up this activity for yourself. 3 hours a week is not a huge thing to ask for. But if she's fussy and won't take a bottle he might be struggling with her when he's tired from working long days. Try to work on getting her to take a bottle so he has an easier time soothing her and he might cope better

I think most gyms have free daycare or it's cheap. I know how you feel but for him he has been work all day and I guess he just wants to relax.
