well that's hard to say because if i'm just getting to know someone and they have the same name then i'm gonna think of my dad every time i see that person, i'm sure that's something that you'd get over after some time but i feel like if i don't know how great a boyfriend you'd be in the beginning it'd make me just the smallest bit less attracted to that person 😂

I wana say yes I would but my dad has a very unique name: Marvis. So it would be a little weird but if he had a normal name like Jake. I could date a guy named Jake since it's just a common name.

My dad's name is Michael and it was the most popular boy's name for a really long time so I don't think it would weird me out too much because there are so many of them lol. It's my SO's middle name too
