Paind during endometriosis

So it's been a really long time since I've had sex. And for the first time in a few years, I finally had sex and it was with a friend of mine. Mind blowing, if I may add. But I forgot how painful it can be because of my endometriosis. Does anyone else deal with pain because of it? How do you deal with that pain?
