Would u be annoyed if u weren't invited along with your boyfriends friends wedding?

I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 4 years. A save the date for a wedding came in the mail,  the envelope was addressed to only him, with a generic invite inside. Would you be offended that you're not on the envelope/invite? It's like i don't exist even tho I've met these friends several times.

I would be offended if my boyfriend had a plus one and didn't take me!!!

I might be annoyed, but in my experience it's not all that uncommon to give plus-ones only to married (or married/engaged, or some other categorization) if the couple getting married is trying to save money. I'm sure it's not personal! It's probably more like they can't afford to have the wedding they want with all their closest friends/family if they have to give everyone with a bf/gf a plus-one, & it's less drama to just draw a line.

Well it's pretty poor etiquette to not invite both halves of an established couple but I have seen couples only invite married or engaged couples to weddings. It's shitty for sure but unfortunately it IS their wedding and they do get to decide. If your boyfriend feels strongly enough he can decline the invite.

Not exactly, hopefully I'd be the fiancé and not the gf if we were together for that long but he can invite a plus 1 right? I'm sure it wasn't personal

And to the person who said he surely gets a plus one.. no. An invitation addressed to one person.. is just for that person. People like you is why everyone and their uncle can come to my wedding lol

You made it seem like you weren't invited at all, with the title. There his friends, so they addressed it to him. I'm sure everyone assumed you'd be the plus one. No biggy.
