birth control pill options

Hey everyone, I'm 17 years old and hoping to go on birth control this upcoming year. I am 140 pounds, 5'5". I'm already over emotional. I forget things Easily, especially taking medications (But I will definitely remember BC). Really, I'm just wondering what kind may be best for me? I'm sure I could ask my doctor but I'd like to hear from other girls/young women as well. Thanks!
