First Real Christmas

My kid is old enough to understand Christmas and all that, he is 4 and has a personality, understanding and all that but he said "I don't want Santa to come by"... he isn't afraid of Santa but he genuinely doesn't want Christmas. I'm fine with that since Christmas was originally... darker. And I'm German so my mother tries to enforce Krumpas instead. But I find this strange. Then I saw my kid wanted Santa to not come by so that more toys is left for the homeless kids around the world. So we are going to go feed the homeless that day instead. Thoughts?
