Really Bad Cramps

So I'm a sixteen (almost seventeen) year old, and this might be completely normal, but ive been getting horrible cramps this month during my period, and i missed a month a couple months ago, and the cramps have not let up. i'm not sure what to do, although i know some people do get really bad cramps during their periods; however, this has never happened to me. so i just want to ask for advice 😊
