Need to travel with 9 weeks and 3 days!

Hi. I have an issue. My grandmother is dying in Dominican Republic. I want to go for 3 days to see her before she closes their eyes. The thing is in DR there's some Zika cases. I'm thinking if I go and buy some repellents and long sleeves shirts and be alert and don't go to places where I can find some mosquitoes. What you would do? Actually my doctor said I can but I have to take care of me.
