Do you worry about your baby being deaf?

Question

First I know there is no positive way to find out if your child will be deaf until after birth. But just curious how many of you worry about it. And if any of you do have deaf children was anything different during your pregnancy that could possibly tip you off that it's a possibility that the child is deaf? 
I guess I kind of worry because my brother and 2 of our male cousins all on moms side are all deaf in the same ear. And since I'm having a boy I guess I kind of worry about it. It wouldn't bother me at all if he was fully or just half like them  but I guess I just worry how he'll have to deal with others if he is fully deaf.

Never thought of it before. We'll just learn sign language and make whatever adjustments we need to. Will be a little bummed, because I love to sing and play piano, and would like to pass that along, even though if they really wanted to, they could still do something musical.

I wouldn't mind it!! I know sign language and I had deaf friends in high school. So nice and not judgemental.

I already know sign language and the deaf community is such a wonderful community, so to me my only worry if my baby ended up deaf would be the struggles in the outside world.

My dad is deaf, so I do have a slight worry every once in a while. But I seriously don't think I'll have any deaf children. Honestly, it wasn't in my family, I wouldn't even worry about it.

They figured out at three years old that I had a hearing problem. They found out when I had trouble distinguishing between b and p or t and c sounds, they also realized that I had developed a habit of staring at people's mouths when they were talking to me.I had continually infected ears and had to have surgery to place ear tubes so that the infection could drain. When they went in to place the tubes, they found that my ears were so infected that they couldn't touch my eardrum for fear of it bursting, so they cut behind my ears to drain it (which left some ridiculous scars) and continued with placing the tubes. Even now, the scarring in my middle ear and ear canal causes the world to sound kind of muffled.

I have a 12 year old girl who has hearing problems. She hears frequency different to us so we could be wispering but to her your screaming or vice versa. It tends to play up worse when she has a viral or a cold. She will also lip read as she doesnt always hear if your speaking looking away from her. Shes very good at playing on it lol ohl mum but i didnt hear you but she heard the word chocolate fine!

I didn't worry per SE, but I did make sure not to do anything after 17w that could effect baby's hearing like concerts or gun ranges, etc.
