Pink dye vs. Blue dye?

I've seen some people suggesting to take a test with the other color dye (try a test with blue dye if you've been using pink dye or vice versa) when the positive line is very faint. Does anyone know why it makes a difference? Or maybe just because some people might have an easier time seeing one color over the other? Thanks!

Blue dye usually have a small indent that makes it look positive. Pink dye I've never seen that with.

I've seen so many dye runs that make people think they're positive when they aren't with blue dye tests. From personal experience pink dye are so much easier to read the lines are crisper and more obvious with pink dye tests. Except the curved handle frer tests, heard of a million false positives on that and its a pink dye test. So both have their issues truly.

I wonder the same thing bc I've seen posts about how pink or blue dye is bad like I've read on here blue dye has problems with dye runs and pink dye is bad with evap lines or indents. Does it really matter?
