Is it possible to be too libreal?

Everyone mentions being "too conservative" but I think it's just as big a problem on the left.

There is an extreme form of every concept.

However, I typically find extreme liberals to be hella irritating while I find extreme conservatives to be oppressive, dehumanizing, and downright terrifying.

A lot of people seem to think if liberal as being for equal rights/not conservative and so I personally believe there is absolutely no way to care "too much" about people being treated with equal respect. That's just something that should be done, no argument needed. 
In fact heck I just looked up the definition of it just to be sure and it basically makes liberal ideals sound like "how to be an decent human being" guides. Don't see how you can ever have too much of that.

I only add the "too" part when someone starts shoving their opinions down other people's throats. You can think whatever you want but as soon as you take uneccesary actions you've gone too far. I obviously don't mind civil discussions and peaceful protests but maturity is key.

What do you feel is being too liberal? I think i get where you're coming from but can you come up with a specific example?This isn't me hating or anything I genuinely want to understand the other side.

We are talking about fundamental concepts here I guess. 
Liberal means liberty, freedom. Freedom of ones should limit where it affects others. In that sense, many liberal companies do go too far by pressuring some people around the world to lose their freedom for their own sake. So it is possible to be too liberal if you are one sided. 
Your first clarification of giving all people equal rights is not just about freedom in a fair way. It also touch the boundaries of communautarism VS individualism.
Do you care that you have the freedom to do something for yourself even though the community is against it? And what about merit? 
In the end, every extreme express and idea that is human after all.
