Winter Electric Bill

I live in a 3bd home with 3 adults(me included) and a baby. Last year our electric bill was $170 and thats because we didnt have the baby that time and we were barely home but now our projected electrice bill is $370.

I became a stay at home mom and because of the cold weather i purchased a portable heater to warm our bedroom thinking i will save bucks compared to central heat.

I live in California.

Is this a reasonable electric bill?
