Anyone else have pains while exercising on the iud?

I have incredible pain while exercising on my period, I have the iud and I've never had this issue before he iud. Anyone else feel the same?? I have paraguard in and I know one of the side effects is bad cramping, but this is overwhelming..... it's so painful.

When did you get it put in? I would call your doctor regardless to make sure. I was really sick for about 2 days when I got my paraguard put in and had extra heavy periods for about 6 months afterwards but then it all leveled out. I was crampy when they put it in for about a week but I was on my period anyways so not sure if that means anything

Try not exercising on your period. I started doing that even before I got my IUD. If exercise is painful when you're not on your period, then that would be a concern to take up with your doctor. Though, just to be safe, ask your doctor.  I have the paragard and I had cramps for two months and am still going through the heavier periods. In fact, the first day, I vomited an hour after getting it inserted. Those two months, I was calling the clinic nonstop basically 😂😂😂 but now my body seems to have settled in.
