Pregnancy and weight
I'm at my heaviest weight and trying to conceive. I ran a marathon last October, and I lift weights 3 times a week, but before that I went through a period of anxiety and depression. Due to the depression, I gained quite a bit of weight. I'm 5'3" and 170lbs. I'm eating healthy and exercising regularly now, but losing weight is hard.
The thought of getting pregnant now is so exciting, but also terrifying. I don't want to be at my heaviest BEFORE I get pregnant.
I'm just looking for some advice. Is it safe to lose weight in the early stages of pregnancy? My plan would be to continue to eat healthy and workout as much as my body will let me.
I feel like crying. I sound like a brat who isn't ready for a baby.
