Is the pill a safe way to go without using condoms?

I'm 16, I don't wanna take the time to use a condom, but I also don't want to spend nine months paying for it.

Condoms are for your protection not just for pregnancy prevention but also to keep the spread of sexually transmitted diseases at bay. Be careful who you trust, men will do and say anything.... Just saying :)

Otherwise, I had condom free sex on the pill for 2 years without a pregnancy scare ( because I used the pill properly) always read and follow all instructions and you should be fine, and if they seem complicated ALWAYS FEEL COMPFORTABLE ASKING YOUR DOCTOR :) it's what you're paying them for

My now husband and I did that in high school until we had a pregnancy scare.  After that we used condons or he pulled out.  
Now that we're married he continues to pull out or use condoms until we're ready to start our family.

Pills aren't always 100% guarantee. It also won't prevent you from STDs. You might get lucky and not get pregnant but also might end up with something nasty. Be smart your so young just take the time to put a condom on! You can still make it enjoyable. Learn to do it with your mouth or something and make it entertaining

A pill is effective if you take it correctly and don't have any other medicines that interfere, but still will not ever be 100% effective. However not using a condom could mean more than 9 months of a "problem". You could set yourself up for getting a number of STDs, where many can last a lifetime and cost you your fertility later on down the road when you are ready.

First of all, birth control or condom: there is no 100% guarantee you won't get pregnant. The more careful you are, the better.
Second, if condoms take too long, maybe you shouldn't be in such a hurry. Take time to slow it down with your partner... Experts suggest that a women should experience 10-30 minutes of foreplay before the vagina is ready for intercourse.
