Ultrasounds when pregnant with twins???

Question

I found out I'm pregnant a couple of weeks ago with twins!  We're ecstatic, but I was wondering how many ultrasounds you've had done?  The tech mentioned that I will be brought in for more ultrasounds because it's multiples... well the nurse informed us that there will be no other ultrasounds until my 12 week scan because everything looks really good.  There were two heartbeats, twin A 118bpm & twin B 125bpm; this was at 5weeks 6days and she doesn't see a need for another ultrasound.   Is this what you've experienced?

Pregnant with di/di twin girls and we've been blessed with a healthy pregnancy up until a few days ago...my bp has started to climb and stay at 130/90 so ive just finished bloodwork and a 24hr urine sample thingy to see if im preeclamptic 😢
 But it seems like i have had more US than the rest of u twin mommas...1st US 8w found out it TwinS, then every 4weeks after at my obs office, but its really to check the girls HBs and its such a grainy ultrasound pic but on top of seeing my ob he sends me to a specialist at the Perinatal Center starting at 18weeks for the anatomy scan and every 4weeks after till i deliver. When i made it to 32weeks i had to start seeing my ob ever week till i deliver plus a weekly nonstress test at L&D till i deliver and i have 1 more scheduled perinatal appt Jan 13th if the girls stay baking that long. My ob wont let me go past 38weeks which is Jan 23!! Im 34w2d today so Only a few more weeks to go and i get to finally touch hold and kiss these two human beings ive made!! I Still cant believe it! Hopefully this guves u some insite...my friend just had b/g twins and she had the exact same US and appts as me

I'm 20+4 with di/di twins and I've had 7 US so far and another scheduled for tomorrow.  I had a lot of complications in the beginning but since 12w we've done one at every app 4 weeks apart

Before I lost baby B I was having an ultrasound every visit so she could see the heartbeats. I was told with twins they do that because they can't distinguish the difference with just a Doppler. 9wk was my first appointment when I found out. Then 12wk 15wk and 19wk. That's when I found out I lost one. Now I see a specialist and am still having an ultrasound every visit at currently 25 weeks.

Depends on type of twins and any complications. If no complications, there's no reason for another US till 12 weeks regardless. We have mo/di, so we have had US every 2 weeks since 14 weeks until 32 weeks when it will be every week. With di/di, I read that if there are no complications, the number of US resembles normal pregnancy (12 and 20) until 3rd trimester (depending on your OB's office of course). 
Also fwiw, my OB found 2 heartbeats with the Doppler without any problem at my 20 week OB appt (my US are scheduled separately), so there's not necessarily a reason to do an US just to find heartbeats (at least after 20ish weeks).

Had a dating ultrasound at 7w4d when I found out it was twins, then another scan at 13w3d, and go for my anatomy scan at 20w4d on January 4th. Not sure after that how many I'll have

I have had a complicated twin pregnancy so far. So I had my dating scan US at 7 weeks, ER US at 8 weeks, follow up at 9weeks, ER US at 13 weeks. (Both ER US are from heavy bleeding. Not sure what's going on but both babies seem perfectly fine)

I only had one ultrasound in the first trimester. It was at 10 weeks. I opted out of the 12 week NT scan. From 20 weeks on, I've had 5 ultrasounds. Typically, you would have more than that, but my insurance gave me a hard time about covering the MFM.

I am 12 weeks exactly today and I have already had four sonograms because of high risk twins

When I was pregnant with my twins I had one at 6 weeks then another at 12 weeks. From 12 weeks to 24 weeks I had them every two weeks because I was high risk. The. After 24 weeks they moved to every 3 weeks. I ended up have severe preeclampsia that progressed very quickly and delivered at 31w3d.

I had an 8 week just for dating, 12 week, 19 week, today is my 28 week and I'll have one at 34. Which is more than my friends with uncomplicated singleton pregnancies. My twins are di/di and other than a low platelet count which doesn't effect my babies, my pregnancy has been totally normal so anymore would seem excessive. The ultrasounds are fun but SO long! My doctor also uses a little ultrasound machine in her room at each appointment just to check heartbeats and position, but you can barely see anything on that machine, so I don't include those.
