My boyfriend won't be able to come to my 11 week appointment because he can't miss work (he will get in trouble if he misses many more days and he really wants to take off for my 20 week ultrasound appointment). So at my 11 week appt they will do a full exam, pap smear, and I will get to see the heartbeat. I'm so sad he's gonna miss it, so I asked my sister to come because I want someone with me to see the heartbeat. But is it weird that she's going with me? Like, can she wait outside the room while they do my pelvic exam, or do you think it's not a big deal for her to be in there? Idk. This is all new to me.
