going off the pill

I have been on the pill since I was 17, now i am 21 and have decided to go off. I chose to go off so I could see if I would regain my sex drive and possibly lose some weight and also have a better handle on my emotions.

I waited until my last pack was finished and did not start a new pack.

It has now been a little over a month since my last period and I have not had another period since going off the pill.

I have heard that I should wait 3 months before becoming concerned, but I have also heard that your period should start back as you had it before the pill (which mine was always long and super heavy).

I have had safe sex since being off the pill as well.

I guess my question is, should I be concerned that I have 100% missed my first period off the pill?
