Anyone else?

Question

So, since I first started having sex, avoiding pregnancy was huge.

As I get older, and read more stories about couples trying, I'm so afraid that when I DO want to conceive, I won't be able to.

Is this an irrational fear? No women on either side of my family have had issues as far as I know but everyone's different too.

Completely rational and well justified fear. Conception isn't as easy as people think it is.

I'd consider that a legitimate fear, especially if you're on the pill. I know a few people who have had issues with pregnancies after using birth control. (Everyone's different) but If you just use condoms I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just my opinion

I always had that fear too, people said I was being silly... here I am after a year of trying to conceive with no luck. Not to mention we used pullout only for 2 years before that, and it wasn't always perfect use. Feeling like I'll never get pregnant!

i'm not ready to have a child yet, just thinking it may be hard to conceive when i do want to. :/
