So, I started my period on the 9th. My period is normally 6-7 days. Normally it starts off heavy and within the last 3 days it's light and it stops. This month, it was completely different. My period was very light the first 3-4 days and was suddenly very heavy to the point where I found myself changing my pads and tampons 6 times a day. There were more clots than usual and I'm going into my 11th day. I've been experiencing sharp abdominal and back pain for the last 5 days and it's very difficult to stand because it's very painful. This has never happened before and I'm kind of worried. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this normal? Should I visit a doctor?
