UTI Help Needed -- Please!

My vagina is quite itchy since yesterday, and I have cloudy urine. My mum said it's UTI and advised me to apply coconut oil down there & increase water intake.

I am, however, having trouble sleeping & I have never had a UTI before. Am I doing the right thing or shall I get something from the pharmacy tomorrow? OTC suggestions would be great. Thank you!
