Sharp stabbing pain?!

(TMI) after my appointment on Tuesday I noticed my vulva was a bit swollen & today I started to have unbearable sharp shooting/stabbing like pains down there. I had an appointment today and my cervix is still closed but could this be a sign of labor?! 1 day overdue as of 12/31 12:08am =(

Oh the joys of lightning crotch. I've had mine since week 29... I'm almost 34 weeks and her head is stationed at 0... she is most likely sitting very low hitting some nerves.

Wow! You should be going into labor very very soon. That sharp shooting pain is sign of Braxton hicks contraction and or you're starting your contraction. Good luck!!

I had this at 31 wks until I delivered at 39+6. I called it lightning crotch. Very painful dr said it was from the pressure of the baby.
